  • September 2 – Congress returns from August recess. House Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Appropriations Subcommittee markup of NIH spending bill.
  • September 9 - Anticipated full House Appropriations Committee markup of NIH spending bill.
  • September 15 - Introduction of Medical Research Week Resolution.
  • September 22-26 – House and Senate on recess.
